I have an extensive knowledge of the Welsh woollen Industry, living on the borders of Ceredigion & Carmarthenshire, an area well known for its commercialisation of the Wool Trade.

Over the last few years I have built up a private collection of rare narrow loom Welsh blankets from the long gone rural mills of this area. A collection that is available for exhibition. I have exhibits in several local museums in Carmarthen & Aberystwyth. A member of the welsh Mill society too. I have a huge selection of privatley sourced Welsh blankets & Quilts available. More than happy to offer advise on protecting & conserving or even identifying your own precious textiles. If you are looking for something in particular, perhaps replacing a damaged or lost blanket I will be glad to help.

These hardwearing textiles were often given as wedding presents and made of 100% natural fibre will long out last their synthetic counterparts. with a little care they will look just as good for the next generation.

Warm in the winter & cool in the summer perfect as bedcovers, throws or ostentatious picnic blankets. Add a little Welsh accent to your country living style.

I also have a range of new blankets, carthens & throws from two of the remaining rural mills in Carmarthenshire West Wales. Made in the traditional way, beautiful new contemporaries for an old Welsh craft.

Currently on exhibition; I have three pairs of very rare knitted socks from carmarthenshire in Aberystwyth Museum. An exhibition of narrow loom blankets is planned there for 2010.

The famous abstract artist John Uzzell Edwards is working on an entire show inspired by one of my C19th flannel quilts & this will be exhibited next year iin Merthyr tydfil.
