Dove Grey & Lavender with Scarlet bands.

 

Made up for me here in Lampeter using an early twentieth century cloth, originally woven on a narrow width loom. Expertly woven using a variety of weaving techniques. a typical ceredigion stripe with repeated bands in Grey alternating with reverse ( zig zags) twill lines in Scarlet . Detailed with Cream & Lavender.

 

A plain weave with a raised warp stitch in a high twist worsted type thread. exceptional quality cloth from the era of world depression in the 1930s`.

 

 

Measure 15" x 14" & contain a fat duck feather pad. with a zipped side for easy access.

 

wash as wool & dry flat.
