Denim Blue Herringbone cushions from Cilcennin Mill CZ39

Newly made up zipped cushions from cloth woven C1900 in Ceredigions`Cilcennin Mill.

A traditional herringbone weave from Denim Blue yarn with variations in colour, woven by Ben Thomas at my favourite mill, Cilcennin. Who famously ( locally at least) presented suiting cloth to Prince Charles on his investiture in 1969.

High quality hand woven cloth, hardwearing pure wool . A fairly coarse cloth containing kemp. Perfect to add to a collection of tapestries & plaids for some variation in hue & pattern.

Measure 14" ( 35cm) square.

Professionally sewn for me here in Lampeter with a zip in one side & a plump feather pad to stay in shape.
