Deep in Kite country, Ceredigion is a hidden jewel & for those prepared to search them out, it offers a wonderful holiday experience. Try & fit in a visit to one or two of these whilst you are in the area.
A day out in the Cambrian Mountains
A great area for hiking, cycling or just ambling about in the Mountains. Take the road up Wool Mountain, Visit the wonderful Soar Y Mynydd ( Chapel in the Mountains) & back down for lunch at the Talbot. Call in see Myra in the Black Sheep & then on to see me for a cuppa & a full Welsh textile experience.
A day at the seaside
Dont forget to include a visit to the historic harbour town of Aberaeron, just 10 miles away. There are fabulous events on throughout the summer such as the Festival of Welsh Cobs & Ponies in August & the famous Mackerel festival. And just a few miles inland is the famous National Trust property built by John Nash; Llanerchaeron. a walk through the woods is magical in spring with wild daffodils & carpets of bluebells. Then call in to me later in the afternoon for a cup of tea & Welsh textile souvenirs.
