Bluebell

Pure wool fringed Welsh carthen or French quilt as they were sometimes referred to by an older generation. These pure wool carthenni were produced by the mills of the South West until the Mid century ( 1960s) and bought by generations of Welsh famillies for wedding and special ocasion gifts.

Fringed on two long sides and blanket stitched ends.
