Customers are always welcome to Ty Zinc our purpose built shop on the crossroads in Llwyn Y Groes. Built to replicate the local road mens huts erected in the 1930s. These Tin houses were temporary housing for the men laying the metal roads & railways. A few remain & we have copied the woodwork from one in Tregaron. Fitted inside with traditional 1930s fittings ; from tongue & groove panelling to bakelite fittings.
The largest collection of real Welsh blankets in the World. Over 1000 Welsh blankets, New & Vintage, throws & quilts along with cushions, clothing & accessories.

Just 10 minutes from Lampeter & 10 miles in land from Aberearon. We are also about 30 minutes from Llandovery.
We are open by appointment and mornings are preferred. Please check before you come that someone is here , we would hate you to travel a long way unnecessarily .

There are great places to have lunch within 10 minutes drive in nearby Tregaron. Riverbank Cafe has a lovely farm shop and home made cakes . Y Talbot for a traditional pub lunch by the open fire or in their landscaped gardens.
We are presently still observing Welsh COVID precautions . Face masks must be worn NO EXCEPTIONS and maintain a safe social distance at all times from staff and other visitors.
