Natural undyed yarns.

This is a lovely undyed striped narrow width blanket with plenty of age to it. Lightweight & soft with repeated bands in varying colours of Milk Chocolate created by carding together different quantities of coloured yarn with cream to dilute the shades. Probably Jacobs, as this was a popular choice in small rural mills benefitting directly from local Estate owners donating unwanted fleece.

Varying stripes of different width & shade , highlighted by Cream & the tiniest amount of Cochineal Pink. Hand spun & woven C1900 with later hand blanket stitching in pale pink. Hand sewn centre seam, a sprinkling of neat historic darns.

A utilitarian sort of blanket, nothing fancy but nonetheless lovely. Perhaps the sort of thing used on a palette bed.
