Wedgewood Blue

A lovely vintage reversable Welsh tapestry woven by DERW mill in the 1960s. A copy of Trefriws design from a decade earlier. Known Coloquially as The Liquorice Allsort Pattern  it was , perhaps , less imaginatively known by the Mill as The F pattern after its designer Freda Williams.

A muted version of the popular design : Wedgewood Blue, Lemon , Cream , Silver and Pale Pink. More Pink on The reverse than the front. Finished with short fringes on two long sides. Freshly laundered and in lovely vintage condition. on close inspection there are a few faint marks .

Measures 92" x 90" ( 230cm x 235cm) plus the fringes

a larger than usual bedcover for the period .
