Vintage originals guaranteed to turn heads!
The 1960s saw dozens of "makers up" creating wild & wonderful garments: capes & cloaks , crombie coats with matching bags & purses & caps. A decade later came the ponchos & hooded jackets.
Made up from small Tapestry & bought by the yard or off the roll in a myriad of colours & patterns. Most of the mills produced this fabric & some had their own making up dept.Others would out source to businesses like Enoch Griffiths, Jonro designs, Reseta & Coracle clothing to name only a handful. Some of these making up businesses sold under their own label too. Big business with huge competition at the time. Now having something of a renaissance, these quirky designs & fab colours are the height of fashion once again. Grab the one you love.
